Southern hospitality, good times and great parties are second nature to me. My namesake, Jennie Hayden Berryman, was a restaurateur in Surry, Va. My immediate family have had a reputation as fabulous hosts for decades! Combine that with a professional chef's training (Johnson & Wales University, Charleston, SC campus), time at some of the south's finest restaurants (Slightly North of Broad, Charleston; Cru Cafe, Charleston; Lemaire, Richmond; Acacia, Richmond; the Blue Point, Duck) and 6 years as a personal chef - you have the makings of a remarkable dining experience, be it an upscale dinner, large event or casual family gathering.
I'm happy to accommodate allergies, special requests and diet choices. Plant based, vegan and vegetarian meals are my favorite to prepare. I am currently enrolled in an Ayurvedic Wellness program & look forward to bringing that knowledge to your table in a delicious, accessible way.
